🌴 Reggae Revival Under the Stars 🌴

Featuring Mighty Mystic & James and the Giants

The evening pulses with tropical heat as the crowd gathers at our intimate indoor venue—maybe a landmark destination pub in Rhode Island, supported by waving flags and the scent of Sizzlin Fajitas and Rueben's in the air. The energy is high, yet relaxed as people make their way from the main bar to the main stage and the sound of sweet reggae.

James and the Giants, hailing from South Kingstown, Rhode Island, kick off the show w in Giant fashion. They’re local legends with a coastal roots-reggae vibe w years of history as the previous house band on Wednesdays. Think warm strings, crisp drums, and layered harmonies that reflect both classic reggae and jam band soul. Add extra sprinkles of soul, blues, and hip hop and enjoy your reggae sundae. With frontman and GM Jimmy D delivering heartfelt vocals and the band grooving in sync, their set feels like a sun-drenched road trip with friends—down-to-earth and joyfully unpolished. Fans sway, couples dance, and hometown love is felt in the cheers between songs.

As the night sets in, the stage lights shift and Mighty Mystic steps into the spotlight. Born in Jamaica and raised in Boston, his presence is magnetic—regal but grounded. His sound blends traditional reggae with modern edge: heavy basslines, conscious lyrics, and a touch of hip-hop swagger. Backed by a tight, professional band, he launches into tracks like Concrete World and Revolution, his voice rising strong and clear through the rooms atmosphere. He connects deeply with the crowd, preaching unity, resilience, and love between songs, the message amplified by the rhythms bumpin from the subs.

By the end of the night, the two acts come together for a final jam—a free-flowing improvisation that brings local flavor and island fire into one high energy grand finale. The audience, glowing from the music and community vibe, dances as if the night might mystically never end.
